1. Using the service

These terms are an agreement between you and the service operator identified above, referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”. They govern your use of Uwe Studio. Accept them when requested before using account features. Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled; acknowledging it does not give consent to every optional use of data.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement to open an account. If you act for a studio or other business, you must have authority to do so. Do not create an account using someone else's identity or email address without permission.

2. What the service provides

Uwe Studio helps businesses manage customers, measurements, jobs, invoices, quotations, payments, expenses, cash records, staff and public work posts. Features depend on availability, your role and your studio's plan. We may maintain, improve or change features and will give reasonable notice of material changes to a paid service where practicable.

We provide software, not tailoring or artisan services, a bank account, a loan, insurance, or professional tax, legal or accounting advice. Recording a payment does not itself move money. The studio is responsible for its work, customer agreements, prices, delivery, refunds, taxes and the accuracy of its documents and records.

3. Accounts and studio access

Provide accurate account details, keep your email accessible and protect your password, verification codes and devices. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account.

Studio administrators control membership, roles and permissions. Assign access only to people who need it, and remove access when it is no longer appropriate. An admin may be able to view or change sensitive studio records. Staff must use their own accounts and respect the studio's confidentiality obligations.

Authorised platform administrators may access studio records using their own administrator identities when needed for support, security, investigating abuse or meeting legal obligations. This does not make them a customer or employee of the studio.

4. Customer and staff information

You must have a lawful reason to enter another person's name, contact details, measurements, photos, employment details or financial records. Give appropriate privacy information and obtain permission where the law requires it. Use only the information needed for your work and keep it accurate.

Do not upload passwords, card security codes, unnecessary identity documents, or medical or other sensitive details unrelated to the job. You are responsible for responding to your customers' requests concerning records your studio controls. We will assist where required by applicable law.

5. Public profiles, posts and photos

Publishing is different from saving a private job or draft. Published posts, captions, selected photos and public studio contact details may be viewed without signing in, shared by others and indexed by search engines. Do not publish a customer's measurements, private financial details, image or other personal information without an appropriate lawful basis and any necessary permission.

You keep ownership of content you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, copy, resize, format, deliver and display that content only as needed to provide and protect the service, including the public showcase when you publish. This licence lasts while the content is stored or lawfully retained; it does not transfer ownership to us.

Upload only content you own or have permission to use. You may unpublish or remove content through available controls, subject to record-retention requirements. We cannot recall copies already downloaded, shared, exported or cached by third parties.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for fraud, impersonation, unlawful activity, harassment, discriminatory abuse, sexually exploitative material, copyright infringement, spam or deceptive advertising. Do not upload malware, attempt to bypass access controls, probe other studios' records, disrupt the service or evade reasonable usage limits. Do not post misleading work claims or content that exposes another person's private information.

Report suspected abuse through the contact above, with enough information for us to investigate. We may restrict access or remove content reasonably believed to violate these terms or the law.

7. Free plans, advertising and subscriptions

Free plans may include advertising and limits on features, uploads, jobs or members. Eligible paid plans remove in-app studio ads as described at purchase. Advertising content comes from third parties; we do not endorse the advertiser or guarantee its products. See our privacy policy for advertising data and choices.

Before paying, review the current price, currency, billing interval, limits and renewal terms shown by the purchase provider. Google Play purchases and renewals are processed by Google, subject to its applicable terms. Web subscriptions offered through Paystack are processed by Paystack under its applicable terms. The checkout identifies the monthly amount and automatic renewal before you subscribe. Other payment methods are available only when expressly offered.

Auto-renewing subscriptions continue until cancelled through the provider that billed you. Deleting an account, uninstalling the app or leaving a studio does not itself cancel Google Play or Paystack renewal. Use the provider that billed the studio to update payment details or cancel renewal. Cancellation, refunds and any remaining paid access follow the disclosed purchase terms, provider rules and mandatory consumer rights.

When paid access ends, the studio may return to the Free plan and its limits. Extra members or features may be restricted. A downgrade does not by itself promise immediate deletion of existing business records. We will not retrospectively change the price already paid for a completed billing period.

8. Records, availability, support and discontinuation

Check amounts, measurements, customer details and documents before relying on them. Corrections to posted accounting records may require a reversal, credit note or other correcting entry rather than deletion. Financial records describe what users recorded; they are not independent proof that a bank transfer or cash payment occurred.

Availability and performance. We aim to keep the service useful and available and will exercise reasonable care in providing it. However, maintenance, software defects, device compatibility, internet faults, provider outages or security incidents may interrupt access or affect how features work. Subject to applicable law and any express commitments we make, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, that every feature will always work as expected, or that the service will meet every user's particular requirements.

Issue resolution. We will use reasonable efforts to investigate reported problems and improve or correct the service. Unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing, we do not offer a guaranteed response, restoration or resolution time, and we cannot guarantee that every reported issue will be fixed. Any estimated fix date is an estimate rather than a binding deadline. We may prioritise issues according to severity, security, available resources and technical feasibility, and may address an issue through a workaround, an update or a change to a feature. We will give appropriate updates about material delays where required. These provisions do not remove any service standards, remedies or time limits imposed by applicable law.

Changes and discontinuation. We may modify, suspend or permanently discontinue a feature or the whole service for business, technical, operational, security or legal reasons. We do not promise to operate the service indefinitely. For a planned material reduction or closure, we will give reasonable advance notice and a reasonable opportunity to export available records where practicable, and any notice required by law. Urgent security incidents, legal requirements or circumstances outside our reasonable control may require action with little or no advance notice.

If a paid service is discontinued, cancellation, any unused prepaid period and any refund or other remedy will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the purchase provider's rules. Discontinuation does not remove our outstanding data-protection or other legal obligations. Do not rely on permanent access: keep copies of important records using available export functions. Upload, export and other reasonable operational limits may apply.

9. Suspension and account deletion

We may suspend an account or studio for security, suspected serious abuse, unlawful content or material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and offer a way to contact us, unless doing so would create a security risk or conflict with the law.

You can request deletion from My account → Delete my account. Our account deletion page explains the process. A request signs you out and has a six-hour grace period. Completing sign-in before cleanup starts cancels the request. Background cleanup may occur after six hours; it is not an exact completion deadline.

Another active admin must remain where studio administration is shared. A studio with no other members has its public profile closed and contact details removed. Account anonymisation does not automatically erase shared studio accounts, job records or attached work photos. Legal retention and other people's rights may limit erasure. Contact us to discuss remaining personal information. Subscription cancellation is a separate step.

10. Responsibility and consumer rights

Each party is responsible for its own unlawful acts and breaches of this agreement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information you supplied, unauthorised actions outside our control, or disputes between a studio and its customers.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, deliberate wrongdoing, or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights continue to apply, including when a feature fails or the service is discontinued. No statement here guarantees that every contractual limitation will apply in every country.

11. Limited indemnity for misuse

This clause concerns responsibility for certain third-party claims. If you use the service for business purposes, and only to the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify the service operator for losses directly attributable to a third-party claim arising from your fraud, unlawful use of the service, infringement of another person's intellectual-property rights, or collection or publication of personal information without the authority or lawful basis required by law. For example, this may include a claim about photos you uploaded without permission or private customer information you unlawfully published.

This obligation is limited to amounts finally awarded by a competent court, amounts payable under a settlement you have approved in writing, and reasonable, necessary and documented legal costs attributable to the covered conduct. We will give you prompt notice of a claim, relevant information and a reasonable opportunity to respond or participate in its defence. We will take reasonable steps to reduce avoidable loss and will not agree to a settlement that imposes an obligation on you without your written agreement.

You are not required to indemnify us for loss to the extent it was caused by our own negligence, fraud, deliberate wrongdoing, breach of these terms or breach of law, or that of a person for whom we are legally responsible. This clause does not apply merely because you use the service, experience a technical problem or make a legitimate complaint. It does not authorise automatic charges, waive any mandatory consumer right or impose an indemnity prohibited by applicable law.

12. Changes, law and contact

We will identify revised terms by an updated version or date and request fresh acceptance when the service requires it. Material changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law. If you do not accept required changes, you may stop using the service, export available records and request account deletion.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute. If it remains unresolved, you may use the competent courts and any consumer or regulatory remedies available under applicable law. This does not remove any mandatory rights you have in your place of residence.

For questions, complaints or content reports, use the support contact above. Never send your password or a verification code.
